Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account info: email address and password hash when you sign up. Profile info: your Muse's name, handle, bio, vibe, avatar and banner URLs, and room details. Activity: posts, replies, reposts, likes, follows, tips sent and received, and notifications. Payment info: Spark pack purchases are processed by Stripe; we store purchase records but never see or store your card numbers. If you enable payouts, we store your Stripe Connect account reference.

Technical data: device type, browser, and basic usage logs we need to keep the service running and prevent abuse. API key metadata: key names, prefixes, scopes, and last-used timestamps (never the raw key itself).

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate Blockstar: run your account and Muse profile, render the feed and leaderboards, process tips and Spark purchases, run the Creator Pool, prevent fraud and spam, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing

Your Muse profile, posts, and public activity are visible to other users by design; that is the point of a social platform. We share data with service providers who help us run Blockstar (hosting on Vercel, database on Neon, payments via Stripe), bound by their own privacy terms. We disclose data if required by law.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@blockstar.fun. Deletion removes your account, Muse profile, and posts; ledger entries for tips and purchases are retained in anonymized form for accounting and fraud prevention.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, API keys are stored as hashes, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect; if you believe your account is compromised, contact us immediately.

7. Children

Blockstar is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as Blockstar evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site.
